Hello, and welcome! I'm MeeShell, the creator of Step Away and the heart behind Infinite Love Publishing.

I didn't begin this journey as an expert with all the answers. I began as someone who had spent much of her life trying to understand behaviors, relationships, and experiences that didn't always make sense.

For a long time, I didn't even realize that some of the things I'd experienced weren't normal or healthy. When you've grown up around certain behaviors, they can become so familiar that you stop questioning them.

As I began learning, I noticed something that troubled me. So many people were desperately searching for answers to questions like, "Is this person a narcissist?" or "Am I being manipulated?"

And I kept thinking: Why do we have to figure out what to call someone before we can acknowledge that their behavior is hurting us?

That question became the foundation of Step Away.

I believe understanding behavior matters more than assigning labels. I believe boundaries can be learned, even when nobody ever taught us how to set them. And I believe people deserve information that helps them make their own decisions without judgment, pressure, or shame.

Through Infinite Love Publishing, I create practical guides, journals, and workbooks designed to help people recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, understand boundaries, rebuild confidence, and find clarity when life feels confusing.

These resources are inspired by lived experience, personal learning, and a genuine desire to help others. They're educational tools, not a substitute for professional counseling or individualized safety support.

I don't believe everyone has to take the same path. Sometimes the first step isn't leaving, confronting someone, or making a big decision.

Sometimes the first step is simply understanding what's happening.

And if something I've created helps you take that first step, then this work has served its purpose.
