Overview
Welcome to Megan Collins Quilt Design. By purchasing products from this shop, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact me at hello@meganacollins.com.
Digital Products
Most products offered in this shop are digital PDF quilt patterns. Digital products are delivered electronically and are available for download immediately after purchase.
No physical item will be shipped for digital purchases.
EU and UK Customers
By completing a purchase of digital content, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the files and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) once access to the digital content has been provided.
Because digital products are delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable after delivery. This does not affect your legal rights if a file is defective, incomplete, or materially different from the product description.
If you experience any problems downloading or accessing your files, please contact me and I will be happy to help.
Physical Products
Physical products, including print patterns, notions, stickers, and other merchandise, are currently shipped only within the United States.
Shipping charges and estimated delivery times are provided during checkout. Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are outside my control.
Returns and Refunds
Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are generally not available after files have been delivered. If you encounter a problem with your purchase, please contact me so I can help resolve the issue.
Physical Products
If a physical item arrives damaged or if there is an error with your order, please contact me within 14 days of delivery so that we can determine an appropriate solution.
Copyright and Pattern Use
All quilt patterns, instructions, photographs, illustrations, and other content are protected by copyright and remain the property of Megan Collins Quilt Design.
Patterns are intended for personal use. You may:
- Make quilts for yourself or as gifts.
- Sell a limited number of finished quilts made from my patterns, provided credit is given to Megan Collins Quilt Design as the pattern designer.
In-Person Teaching (Allowed with Conditions):
You may teach in-person quilting classes or workshops using my patterns only if every student purchases their own copy of the pattern.
This aligns with my wholesale and shop licensing options and ensures each participant has their own instructions.
You MAY NOT:
- Share, copy, upload, or redistribute PDF files in any form
- Send or provide pattern files to students, customers, or third parties
- Sell or distribute printed or digital copies of my patterns
- Teach classes or workshops online, including but not limited to Zoom, prerecorded courses, membership sites, or any digital teaching platform
- Share or publish online tutorials, videos, blog posts, or downloadable guides that teach how to construct my patterns
- Create derivative patterns or “inspired by” designs based on my instructions or construction methods
Please encourage others to purchase their own copy of a pattern.
Accuracy of Information
Every effort is made to provide accurate instructions and information. However, I cannot guarantee specific results, and customers are responsible for using their own judgment and sewing practices when constructing projects.
Limitation of Liability
Megan Collins Quilt Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased from this shop.
Changes to These Terms
These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.
