About Mermaid Sound Cave

Welcome to The Mermaid Sound Cave — where art meets acoustics and sound waves become story.

Both recording studio and sanctuary — a place where imagination, empathy, and technical precision harmonize.

Oh hi! I’m Amie Drew Vreeken; a Nationally booked Voice Actor, Vocalist and Mermaid Performer.

Welcome to my playground.

A skilled vocalist with mermaid lungs and nearly four octaves of range, Amie is also a songwriter, studio singer, and has collaborated with Grammy-winning producers. Amie blends tonal control with emotional range. Whether weaving haunting harmonies or belting a radiant melody, her voice flows effortlessly between genres. She brings a deep reverence for sound—shaped by both years of stage, studio and underwater experience—to every vocal performance. Her sound carries both emotional nuance and technical polish.

Vreeken, a professional voice actor, singer, mermaid performer, and fine artist, approaches creativity as a multidimensional ecosystem. Her work spans commercial voiceover, character acting, an impressive span of dance styles and techniques, seashell sculpture, balloon art, floral design and symbolic installations such as her immersive pieces *Phoenix Mother*, *Should is a Cage*, and *The Siren of the Fractured Sea.* Mermaid Sound Cave is where these threads converge — a physical and imaginative space where voice, art, myth, movement, and emotional storytelling meet.

The holiday single exemplifies this convergence, offering listeners a warm, uplifting, slightly cheeky track that feels both classic and deeply personal. The accompanying music video — imagined and edited entirely by Vreeken — captures her signature aesthetic: soft turquoise tones, oceanic shimmer, heartfelt expression, and subtle mermaid magic woven into holiday imagery.

“**This isn’t just a song release**,” Vreeken adds. “It’s a beginning. I’m finally in a position to open up the cave and share my mermaid heart with the world. My voice and the real emotional truth I’ve carried through so many seasons comes out through my Mermaid Garden sculpture art, when I swim as a mermaid in my silicone tail, Singing and finding harmonies to add depth, when my voice connects people to products or businesses through Commercial Voice Over, and through every quirky Character Voicing I come up against. I hope this track brings people warmth — and maybe a bit of light.”

MERMAID SOUND CAVE DEBUTS FIRST ORIGINAL HOLIDAY SINGLE:

**“Santa Won’t You Bring Me La-La-La-La-La-Love”**

*Las Vegas Creator and Voice Artist Amie Drew Vreeken Blends Mermaid Magic, Whimsy, and Holiday Warmth in Her New Seasonal Release*

**Las Vegas, NV — December 2025** — Mermaid Sound Cave, the artistic universe of creator and performer **Amie Drew Vreeken**, proudly announces the release of her original holiday single, *“Santa Won’t You Bring Me La-La-La-La-La-Love.”* It’s been a long time coming; the track — produced in 2014 — combines Vreeken’s signature blend of emotional storytelling, humor, and shimmering mermaid mythology with nostalgic holiday warmth.

The song was co-written by Vreeken and longtime collaborator **Alexis Boydston**, with production and sound engineering by close friend **D’Jon**, whose musical direction helped refine the song into its final, polished form. The single marks the first official musical release under Vreeken’s performance identity, **Mermaid Sound Cave**, a brand already beloved on YouTube for its whimsical blend of mermaid lore, voiceover artistry, and imaginative underwater world-building.

“**I’ve dreamed of bringing this song a video to match its vitality and humor. I knew I wanted to put my personality into it; my mermaid persona, and also my balloon artist self.**,” Vreeken says. “I thought it would be so cool to make everything, all the costumes and any accessories out of balloons! It’s possible! That’s the kind of thing I learned how to do as an award winning balloon twister and decor artist for those handful of years. I’ve got friends who are the best in the business, they were open to helping bring it to life…but the budget for that did not exist. Neither the time. So it went unmade for even longer.

Alexis and I wrote it in such a tender era of our lives — when we were both looking for stable connection, joy, and little bits of magic. DJ helped us shape the sound, and add in the “musical desserts” I call them, the harmonies and space for adlibs. I always knew someday I’d create a music video someday. But until Sora AI, I just couldn’t achieve it. This year made it possible. This Holiday Season was apparently the right moment to let it swim off into the world.”
