Hi, I'm Jade 👋🏼

I'm a qualified Forest School Leader, former primary school teacher of 12 years, and preschool practitioner with a passion for helping children learn through nature.

In 2018, I completed my year-long Forest School training and knew I'd found an approach to learning that children need now more than ever. My training covered the theory behind nature connection, child development, the benefits of outdoor learning, and practical skills such as fire lighting, tool use, shelter building, and safe risk-taking.

After years of working with children, I realised that many parents, teachers, and educators wanted to bring the magic of Forest School into their own gardens, classrooms, and outdoor spaces—but often didn't know where to start.

That's why I create easy-to-use Forest School resources, activities, and inspiration that make outdoor learning accessible, engaging, and fun. Whether you're a parent looking for nature-based activities at home or an educator wanting to enrich your outdoor provision, my aim is to give you practical ideas that build confidence, curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong connection with nature.

When I'm not creating resources, you'll usually find me outdoors with my wonderfully supportive husband and our two children, exploring, collecting treasures, and making the most of every muddy adventure.
