Hi, I’m M.M Moe.

I was raised in New Jersey, and for most of my life, I lived a quiet, simple existence I never thought I’d have to leave behind. I spent my 20s working at a local bookstore and volunteering at my town’s animal shelter, never in my wildest dreams imagining I’d become an activist amid an ongoing genocide.

The last three years have humbled me in ways I never could have fathomed, all because I connected with the AlShami family: a Palestinian family displaced from Gaza who lost everything—including their two family-run barber shops and their multigenerational home—to bombardment. I now work directly with them to fund their urgent needs as they rebuild from scratch. 50% of every sale from this store goes directly to the AlShami family to help them restore what they lost, cover rent, medical bills, and basic necessities for their family of 8 including 5 kids under the age of 18, and support their extended displaced family as much as we can. I owe everything I’ve been able to do to the incredible community of people who have stood by me and the AlShami family during these unprecedented times of struggle and solidarity.
