Hi, I'm Barbara, writer of fiction and nonfiction, life-long reader, and owner of Mind's Eye Publishing.
I was almost 63 years old when I moved to Portugal. I had dreamed of living in Europe ever since I had read Robert Louis Stevenson’s Kidnapped as a child. (Then I found out how COLD Scotland is!) At the beginning of COVID, when we knew very little about the virus the expression “Tomorrow is not promised” became a stark reality, I knew it was now or never.
I now write and run my business from Portugal. I'm happy to have you join me on this Portugal journey and I hope that you can visit (or even make the jump!) this beautiful country. Cheers!
