Who I am
My name is Ana, a simple girl born in Romania. When I was seven years old, my parents decided to move to Belgium because they wanted to create a better life for me and my sister.
Moving to another country as a little child was difficult at first, I did not understand why I couldn't go to my grandparents after school or why no one understood me and why I had to learn a new language.
Some kids even made fun of me for being 'different' and not speaking the same language as them.
After a few months I started to learn the language and was finally able to interact with my teachers and peers. I adapted to this new life, in this new country, far from the people I love. I finally started to understand that seeing my family was only possible during holidays and decided to make new friends in this new country.
