About Me

For years, I lived a life that looked fine on the outside—but inside, I was silently breaking. Raised to believe that being gay was something to fix, I spent years trying to change myself. I read the books, went to therapy, prayed endlessly. But none of it brought peace.

In 2017, everything unraveled. I reached a breaking point and realized I couldn’t keep hiding. I chose to stop pretending—and start becoming. That choice launched the most painful and healing transformation of my life.

Today, I write books and produce music that tells the truth: about love, identity, heartbreak, and healing. My songs are rooted in my own journey—from shame and survival to freedom and joy.

Music is how I make sense of the world—and how I share hope with anyone longing to feel seen, safe, and fully loved. I finally found peace by embracing who I am. Now, I help others do the same. My therapy and/or coaching is available - reach out to md.mitchdyer@gmail.com.

Because love—real love—is the most important thing. And it starts with learning to love yourself.
