Monica B. Winston

Sincere patriotism does not require exhibition; instead, it is often accomplished, through kindness and acts of service.

Monica Winston is an author, administrative specialist, and veteran, with a profound vernacular for servant leadership. Having served three years in the military; as well as sustaining a successful career, as Deputy Clerk for the City of McComb, Monica understands the vital impact justice has when extended, with compassion.

Monica knows all too well, the unpredictability and hardships that life can bring, and wishes to remain an example through the platforms of authorship, and communal advocacy. She attests that one of her biggest accomplishments has been in saying “yes” to being a co-author, in the “Forged by Fire", project. It is her hope that she will touch lives, and prove the power of God’s unfailing love, through her story.

Adding to a spectacular career in philanthropy, Monica serves as a Minister of the Gospel, under the leadership, of Pastors Robert and Daphne Knox, at Newness of Life Worship Center; in Mccomb, Ms. She is committed to a sincere life of servitude, anchored, by faith.

When Monica is not out antheming the importance of faith, love, and service; she is inspired most, by her adult children, Tevin, Brittany, Shannon, and daughter-in-law, Alexis. Seeing them focused, determined, and purposed to accomplish their dreams, despite all odds, gives her the joy to continue in her own life’s journey. She is a grandmother of one precious grandson Aszi, and a light to the world.
