Ishmael Boakye is a Ghanaian-Canadian photographer based in Ontario, Canada.

Growing up performing in plays, Ishmael learned how to tell stories through improvisation, emotion, dialogue and posture.

Ishmael approaches the world with a director's eye. Streets become sets, strangers become actors, and environment become props.
