I’m Dela, the creator behind More To Dela YouTube channel.

Both my parents are Ghanaian and Ghana has always been part of my story. But building here as an adult, navigating the land system, managing contractors and learning the hard way what nobody tells you before you start is a completely different experience from growing up visiting as someone’s child.

I have been building in Ghana for over ten years. It has had its highs and its lows. The mistakes I made along the way, the ones that cost me time and money, are the reason this guide exists.

I created Build Your Ghana Home From Abroad because I could not find the honest, complete resource I needed when I started. Everything I have learned from the ground up is in it.
