If you're new to Morgana Bevan, let us guide you a little through the vast array of celebrity romances in the catalogue.
All of Morgana's books can be read as standalones, but if you're the type who loves to read in order, then you've got three series entry points.
Book 1 in the True Platinum Series and the first focusing on Welsh band Rhiannon.
Chasing Alys was the first book I ever wrote and the one that convinced me that romance was right for me. Or more, the one where Ryan Evans refused to be silent and stopped me from sleeping well for six months.
Anyway, here you'll find:
✔️ A Cinnamon Roll. British Rock Star
✔️ A Love Resistant, Jaded Heroine
✔️ He Falls First
✔️ A Ride-Or-Die Best Friend
✔️ And a hard-won one-night stand that doesn’t end there.
Alys features in Between Takes and the moment Ryan first lays eyes on her is actually in that book. Note, they don't interact.
Book 1 in the Kings of Screen Series
Between Takes is where it all began. This was the first book I ever published (not the first I wrote, we'll get to that one soon). Here you'll meet Mona and Shaun and get lost in their forbidden boss-assistant relationship.
Here you'll find:
✓ An actor who needs a babysitter
✓ An assistant who’s out of their depth
✓ A workplace romance
✓ and off the charts chemistry
As well as a brief introduction to the rest of the Kings of Screen and a tease about Lily Tyler's beginnings (we'll get there too).
Book 5 in the True Platinum series and the first focusing on international Welsh rock sensations The Brightside.
Braving Lily adds a Taylor Swift-esque character to the MorganaVerse and provides more depth to the superstar that's teased through Between Takes and the most of the Rhiannon books.
Lily is James Tyler's cousin, Shaun Martin's ex-fiancee and childhood sweetheart and she's tired of the fame and the constant attention.
Here you'll find:
✓ A female rock star
✓ A nerdy, wounded British app developer
✓ A second chance at love
✓ Opposites attract
✓ And an unlikely meet cute
This book introduces Lily's bodyguard and the rest of her band.
Authors shouldn't pick favourites but some books just force a choice and these are mine.
Book 2 in the Kings of Screen Series
Finn McCarthy refuses to relinquish his position as my favourite celebrity. Even years later. The man is just as fun and endearing as he was when he first forced his way into Between Takes.
It was my first dual POV novel and the first where I got to play with formatting from my TV background. Married Blind includes transcript-style interviews between the "cast" and their producer. One day this book will launch a series.
✓ A suspicious but hilarious Irishman
✓ Shenanigans with a reality TV film crew
✓ An unplanned Marriage of Convenience
✓ two total opposites in every way
✓ and of course, a Hollywood romance.
Inspired by the reality TV show, Married at First Sight.
Book 4 in the True Platinum Series
I was so scared in the build up to and during writing this book. Jared Michaels was a tough nut to crack and he held onto his secrets for as long as he could. All I knew going in was that he was troubled, something was bothering him enough that book after book he his behaviour became more and more abhorrent.
I think he's one of the only characters I've written who have had to go through drastic changes from the first to last page. It wsa a well fought journey.
✓ One cabin in the Italian Alps
✓ A sexy, but grumpy bad-boy drummer with a secret
✓ A sassy, but sunny heroine ready for a break
✓ Two enemies trapped without escape by a snowstorm
✓ And the power cut forcing them to share a bed
