Turea Simpson is a native Houstonian and is very family oriented. Turea has worked as a paralegal for over 23 years. In her previous roles, within law firms and the corporate world, Turea assisted several attorneys in many administrative/special projects and various areas of law including family, litigation, immigration, personal injury employment, bankruptcy, contract, business and probate law.
Her skills allowed her to form and found a paralegal association in 2009 named the Houston Association of Bankruptcy Paralegals. On the very first meeting, there were over 65 paralegals in attendance. Turea also successfully organized several paralegal seminars which drew paralegals from across the State of Texas and beyond. In addition, Turea lobbied and won on behalf of other paralegals by pitching the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for bankruptcy specialization in the State of Texas.
Turea’s knowledge about bankruptcy is highly sought after and is vast. Her bright smile shines wherever she goes.
