I live in Manitoba, Canada and love wildlife photography particularly the family of American Red squirrels (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) who live in our yard. I started photographing them on a very regular basis in 2020. It was COVID that really started it all.

Mr. Bickles was the first squirrel I saw at that time with Belinda joining him the following year. Since then we have had multiple litters of babies and it has been such a pleasure watching the young ones emerge from the nest and gradually making their way into the outside world. Several have taken up permanent residence here and have gone on to have babies of their own.

Each squirrel is such an individual, personality wise and in appearance! This site features some of the many photographs I have taken of our squirrels over the past few years.
