Artist Statement
Suzanne Renukha Rajkumar
As a faith-based artist, creator of the podcast Mujeres con Proposito 11 and the founder of Mujeres Kintsugi HN, my work emerges from a deep conviction: that God, the Restaurador, takes our brokenness and transforms it into beauty and strength. Like the Japanese art of kintsugi, where fractured pottery is repaired with gold, my art and practice affirm that wounds—emotional, spiritual, and mental—are not erased, but illuminated as part of our redemptive story.
Through painting, writing, workshops, and community circles, I create spaces where women can encounter healing and restoration. My creative process is both prayer and testimony—a way of embodying God’s promise to “make all things new.” Each project is an invitation to see scars not as signs of shame, but as living evidence of resilience and grace.
Mujeres Kintsugi HN is more than an initiative; it is a movement that integrates art therapy, spiritual formation, and collective storytelling. It is rooted in Honduras but speaks to a global longing: to be restored, to be made whole, to encounter God’s presence in our broken places.
