Musical Truth originated in January of 1994 when three friends (Aaron Keung, Carlton "Kai" Rapozo and Jolene Kanahele) got together and decided to form

a singing group that would aid in their spiritual growth as well as the development of their musical talents. Other friends were invited to join and together they created a harmonious blend that can only be felt by the heart. Musical Truth requires no auditions, nor does it require any of its members to be professional musicians. The only requirement is DESIRE. And that desire is to serve their fellowmen, that through their shining example; they will know without a doubt that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is TRUE!

For 26 years, I was privileged to direct this wonderful and talented group of friends. I was blessed with the gift of composing, as well as arranging music written by various LDS and Gospel musicians. I feel very inadequate taking the credit for the God-given gifts that was bestowed upon me, so I like to put it this way..."God is the composer and is gracious enough to allow me to pick the titles." Musical Truth has since dissolved as of 2020 when my husband and I made our move to Utah.

As of March 2022, we have formed a Musical Truth for Youth Choir that operates on the exact same principles as our previous adult choir. We are based in Utah County. However, our choir members span from Provo to Kaysville. Peace is what we promote. The kind of peace that can only come from Jesus Christ. Therefore, "Harmony is the only melody we should sing."
