Why My Therapy Pages?
I'm a counsellor, and over the years I've noticed that a lot of my clients make notes either before, during or after our sessions. For a lot of clients, starting therapy or counselling is a big decision, and usually is a big investment. Clients really want to make the most of their time in therapy - both in the sessions, and outwith them.
I know that journaling - really for me this just means writing about what is going on for us - can be incredibly helpful in supporting good mental health. For a lot of people, writing about our feelings or experiences in a relaxed, non judgmental way, can feel really good and also can be very revealing.
I'm also aware that it is sometimes really hard to get started on something like writing for personal development - we want to improve our self awareness, and learn more about ourselves - but where do we start? What do we actually write about? Even if we are in the habit of journaling, we can sometimes get stuck and feel like we have run out of things to say.
And so that's why I started making My Therapy Pages - printable journal pages that you can download, print out and start writing on straightaway. I hope they help you in your journey of growth and self discovery, and help you to support good mental health.
P.S. I also know that journaling isn't right for everyone! We're all different, and different things support us - and these things can change over time. Don't worry if journaling isn't for you - I know you'll find something else that supports you instead.
