Joseph Rugar is an ordained minister, pastoral caregiver, and testimony-driven writer whose ministry was forged in the fires of real-life crisis. Serving as Senior Pastor of New Southern Generation of Christ in Beeville, Texas, Joseph brings together theological depth, lived experience, emotional honesty, and practical faith.

He is a caregiver, advocate, teacher, and builder — creating devotionals, sermons, and ministry resources that empower families, communities, and believers navigating hardship. His writing is known for its pastoral depth, compassion, and clarity, offering strength to those walking through storms, wilderness seasons, and seasons of spiritual rebuilding.

Joseph is also the founder of the Rugar Faith-Based Agricultural Trust, a ministry committed to land stewardship, community care, and the intersection of faith and practical service. His mission is simple: to help people meet God in the fire and walk out stronger than they entered.
