Yes it is! Kaedyn has been writing this trilogy for ten years, and chose to self publish to retain more control over the creative process and distribution. Storm of Desolation (book one) was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign, in partnership with Merrick Books, the distributor. THANK YOU for supporting an indie author!

Storm of Desolation is 592 pages, 164,00 words, and 1.4" thick. It's a solid read!

Winds of Rebellion (book two) and Roots of Hope (book three). Both in the works!

I will be at Reader Nation in Las Vegas on Nov 14th, 2026! The best way to find out where else I'll be is to join my mailing list. If you'd like me to sign at your favorite bookstore in Portland or visit your town, shoot me an email!

You can request your library buy a copy here so they will be!

This series is anti-colonial, so I have chosen not to support Amazon with my book sales. As a self published author, I work with Merrick Books to distribute my own novels. Thank you for supporting me!

Books are shipped by Merrick Books from their warehouse in the USA. They are an indie distribution company who hand inspects, packs, and ships my books with care. An additional $3-4 cost is added to each order to pay them a living wage.

No. Merrick Books is not licensed to collect fees to pay import taxes or VAT. If your country charges tax, you will pay the courier upon delivery. Shipping costs covers customs clearance, but not brokerage fees related to collecting the aforementioned taxes.

Merrick Books holds my novels in their warehouse across the country, while I get stickers printed and sent to me. So these packages will come from two different coasts.

At this time, all books are shipped from the warehouse to readers... unless you catch me at an author signing! The best way to find out where and when those are is to join my mailing list.
