For many years I coached teams for other clubs, employed by their captain or coach.

This led to coaching teams during finals matches. Not motivational coaching but keeping players in their court positions.

From there I was asked to coach an association's rep squad, for weekend and one-day carnivals each year. We only had a four to six week training period to prepare two teams.

Because of the training time restraint, a whole new training method resulted, to train players quickly and efficiently.

What developed was 'speed coaching', which led to writing the 360 netball training ebooks.

Oddly it was not playing netball or coaching players that contributed to writing these training ebooks, but my umpiring. Umpires see things in a different light than the player chasing a ball or the cheering onlooker.
