About Me

From overwhelmed parent to trusted advocate for over 1,500 families — helping you turn confusion into clarity.

I didn’t start this work as an expert — I started as a mom.

When my daughter was diagnosed with autism and ADHD, I felt overwhelmed, confused, and unsure how to navigate the school system. I sat in IEP meetings not fully understanding what was happening, wondering if I was asking the right questions, and worrying about her future.

So I made a decision — I was going to learn everything I could.

I immersed myself in special education law, learned my daughter’s rights under IDEA and Section 504, and developed the skills to advocate effectively in school meetings. What once felt confusing became clear.

With the right support and persistence, my daughter not only succeeded — she earned a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and now teaches music to others.

That journey transformed me into an advocate.

For over 10 years, I’ve helped more than 1,500 families successfully navigate the special education system — preparing for IEP meetings, securing appropriate services, and turning frustration into results.

Today, I combine lived experience with professional expertise to guide parents step-by-step, so they can walk into meetings informed, confident, and prepared.

Because you don’t have to figure this out alone — and with the right support, your child can thrive.

This playbook is the exact starting point I wish I had when I began.
