Mike was born in Gulfport, MS, and has been drawing faces since early childhood. Beginning in the first grade his papers were filled with doodles of silly faces, both of animals and people. Although he still "doodles" he has completed close to 4000 original, creative faces. "I draw faces, faces are what I draw. It may be silly, but it's what I love to do. Everyone has a special gift unique to them. It is wonderful to find that gift, develop it, and know that you are good at it. Bringing forth something from yourself you have imagined and created is great fun!" His Silly Faces Trading Cards are great for all sorts of fun and activities. They are the most unique production in this field.

He is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Mike is married and has two married sons and six grandchildren.

    Mike’s art has been at the Golden Pineapple, St. Mary’s, Georgia, The Hyatt hotel gift shop, downtown Jacksonville, Florida, and the Tickled Pink Boutique at Mary Mahoney’s in Biloxi, Mississippi.
