PDXKnitterati/Michele Bernstein Designs

Michele Lee Bernstein, PDXKnitterati, designs and teaches in Portland, Oregon. She loves designing accessories, especially if they use one or two skeins of very special yarn. She’s fond of texture (brioche, lace, entrelac, elongated stitches), and loves using interesting techniques to make small objects sing. Her patterns are available through Ravelry, LoveCrafts, and here at Payhip. Not all patterns are everywhere yet! Let me know if there's something you want to see on Payhip.

Michele is the author of Brioche Knit Love, 21 Skill Building Projects from Simple to Sublime, a step by step introduction to brioche techniques.

Michele loves teaching knitters to be the boss of their knitting! She teaches at local yarn shops, fiber festivals (Red Alder Fiber Arts Festival, Vogue Knitting Live, Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival), and retreats.

Michele blogs about knitting, food, and music at PDXKnitterati.com. You can also find her on Instagram, Facebook, Ravelry, and Twitter; she’s PDXKnitterati on all platforms. Click here to subscribe to her newsletter; it's published once or twice per month, and has knitting news and special offers for subscribers.
