About Me
Jacqueline Ann Huie is a Writer, Director, Producer, Teaching Artist, and the woman behind Pantheress Power.
I created Pantheress Power because I lived everything inside it. The relationships that cost me more than they gave. The years of over-functioning, over-giving, and swallowing my truth to keep the peace. The grief that cracked me open. The financial instability that kept me in places I should have left. The slow, necessary work of choosing myself — not perfectly, not all at once, but consistently, with intention.
I wrote the book I needed when I was enduring instead of living.
Pantheress Power is for women 50+ who are done with endurance. Women who are ready to reclaim their voice, their standards, their bodies, their joy, and their next chapter — whether they are rebuilding a relationship, healing from loss, starting over, or simply finally ready to put themselves first.
I'm a filmmaker, mother and grandmother, born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I have lived across cultures and carried this work across continents, North America and Europe. And I believe that the most powerful thing a woman can do at this stage of her life is stop abandoning herself.
That is what Pantheress Power is built on.
