Paul Cook

Recently elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London, Paul is a Certified Teacher of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in Vocal Teaching and was awarded the status with the highest possible classification of 'Excellent'. He graduated with a first class honours degree in Music Education from UWIC and passed the Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in Vocal Teaching with Distinction. Educated at Chetham's, Paul was a scholarship entrant to the Royal Northern College of Music at seventeen and subsequently worked as a freelance session singer at the BBC (and with other ensembles) and for five years at Scottish Opera. In addition to the qualifications listed above, Paul has diplomas in piano performance, pipe organ, vocal performance, music theory and composition. He combines his work as a teacher, musician and author and lives in the UK with his wife and six year old son Matthew. Paul is the author of the 'Pete the Bee' stories and 'Silly Stories About Vegetables'.
