Paul Keery holds degrees in History, Law, Information Science and Education and is qualified as an intermediate and high school civics, history, law and information technology teacher. He taught these subjects for over 25 years at an Oakville private school. He is also a freelance author who has written two Canadian history books for young readers: "Maple Leaf Forever", about the creation of Canada, and "Canada At War", about Canada’s role in World War Two, was nominated for the Hackmatack Award for Children’s Non-Fiction.
