Philip lives in Norfolk with his partner. He has worked as an engineer with Lotus Cars, a college lecturer and an occasional writer for the UK’s biggest selling boating magazine. Deciding he’d had enough of being an employee he single handedly sailed an elderly and ‘unsuitable’ catamaran around the world. He has written three books and a fourth is due to be published in 2026.
