Philip lives in Norfolk with his partner. He has worked as an engineer, a college lecturer and an occasional writer for what was at the time the UK’s biggest selling boating magazine. Deciding he’d had enough of being an employee he sailed (single handed) an elderly and ‘unsuitable’ catamaran around the world. He has written three books and a fourth is due to be published in May/June 2026.
