Pietro Valente has been a professional musician since 2006. He toured extensively in 15 countries in Europe, Asia, and America, performing with hundreds of musicians from different cultures in some of the best venues and festivals. He specialized in jazz at Università Della Musica in Rome, and he had the chance to play professionally not only jazz but also rock, funk, pop, Latin, world music, and avant-garde. Pietro has been awarded several important prizes in Italy, like the Umbria and Siena Jazz scholarship, "Circolo Jazz Verona" best new talent of the year 2009, and the Golden Melody Award in Taiwan. He recorded over twenty albums, including two as a band leader with his own compositions.
