Yesterday I finished piecing a new pattern. Sometimes I think the hardest part of creating a new pattern is to come up with a new name. This pattern is one of those!
I finally decided on Jagged Circles. Combining two different angles gives the illusion of curves, but only sewing straight lines. I've done curved lines, but straight is easier. Especially when the result is amazing!
(It's the brown and gray squares that make the circle--the yellow--jagged.)
I gave a sneak peek of the Island Batik fabric here.
Of course, the curved illusion is achieved by using Deb Tucker's Studio 180 rulers. (I'm so glad I discovered these rulers!) This pattern uses the Corner Beam.
Now it's time to get to work!
