I am a Polish expat living in Amsterdam, abroad since 2018.

Alongside my professional career, I am also an experienced language tutor.

I took my first steps in teaching as a teenage tutor in the early 2000s, and since then I have helped many people navigate the beautiful, confusing, and sometimes ridiculous process of learning a foreign language.

I know first-hand what it feels like to learn a language that sounds like complete gibberish at the beginning.

More importantly, I have also seen the struggle from the other side: when my partner met my Polish family, the language barrier made things... interesting.

Through my resources, I want to give you confidence, hope, and a little bit of fun along the way.

You do not need grammatically perfect Polish to have a warm and friendly encounter

with your partner’s family.

You just need a few useful phrases, a little cultural context, and the courage to try.
