SANTA Bookshop is a quaint secondhand bookshop in the seaside town of Hermanus (Western Cape, South Africa).
It is a charity shop that sells all genres of books. These are all donated by the public.
Physical textbooks had always posed a problem: they rarely (if ever) sold in the shop while taking up precious shelf space. Most ended up being recycled by necessity.
The solution was to reach a wider audience, but this needed resources, specific skills, and a dedicated person to implement.
Preloved Textbooks (this store) is the result of that labour of love: designed, updated, and maintained by a single volunteer. It is fully endorsed by SANTA Bookshop, but is not managed or owned by them.
When you buy our textbooks, you support a worthy cause, while giving these books a new lease of life. Running an online shop like this takes time, effort and resources, so thank you for your support and patience!
