Hi, I’m Samantha Haggart, founder of Preserve Your Photos.

I created this system after inheriting more than 3,000 family photographs from my own parents. As I looked through them, I realised how easily names, memories and stories can disappear when the people who know them are no longer here to ask.

It made me think about the photographs we are taking today—and whether our children and grandchildren will know who is in them, where they were taken and why they matter.

I created this simple step-by-step system to help families organise their photographs and record the stories behind them, so those memories can be understood, enjoyed and passed on for generations.

I believe photographs are more than pictures. They are part of a family’s story—and that story is worth preserving.
