Assistant Chief Glenn Washington is a 30-year fire service veteran who has served as a Firefighter, Fire Apparatus Operator, Captain, Battalion Chief, and Assistant Fire Chief of Operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University, the Chief Fire Officer certification, and the Georgia Chief Officer designation.

Drawing from his own promotional experiences, Chief Washington created Promote With Purpose to help Lieutenant and Captain candidates overcome test anxiety, organize their responses, and confidently demonstrate the leadership skills expected of a company officer.
