Tara S, Merchant, a Motivational Speaker/ Author/ Activist/ Mother/ Wife & Daughter. She is from South Jamaica, Queens. Merchant graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts,from Strayer University in 1997 & a Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University School of Law with a concentration on Contractual/ and Litigation in 2002. Most of her time is spent working as an advocated for women who are and have been incarcerated, she also have a non- profit organization, Road to Damacus that focus on homeless family and assist them with temporary housing, meals, and job placement.
