​I am an Ontario-certified elementary school teacher specializing in Grade 1–3 Science of Reading instruction, and the founder of Reading Boost.

​In my daily teaching practice, I see firsthand how structured, science-backed instruction completely transforms a child's reading journey. But I also know how overwhelming it can be for parents at home who want to help but don't know where to start, or are tired of fighting over boring worksheets.

​That’s why I created Reading Boost. My mission is to bridge the gap between classroom science and your kitchen table by providing simple, effective, and stress-free resources that actually work.

​The Reading Boost Philosophy:

​Grounded in Science: Every resource I build is aligned with the Science of Reading (SoR) and the Ontario Language Curriculum (Strand B2).

​No-Book, Low-Stress: Practice should fit seamlessly into your day—whether that's at the kitchen table, on the couch, or on the drive to school.

​Consistency Over Intensity: Just 10 to 15 calm minutes a day will move the needle further than long, frustrating weekend study sessions.
