Redcoat History is the brainchild of Christian Parkinson. Christian is a filmmaker and journalist based in South Africa. He has a passion for military history, especially the campaigns of the British army from the French Revolutionary wars to World War Two. He regularly visits the battlefields of southern Africa and loves to make films, write books and keep fit.
