Our attraction to real estate dates back over 30 years. We started investing in real estate to be a blessing and to build a solid investment portfolio for our family which consists of three daughters (Jenifer, Brooke & Sydney) and one son (Blake). After many years of very hard work to include new builds, extreme renovations and property management, we built our real estate investment portfolio to over 35 properties and our tenants enjoyed good quality, well-managed units and good treatment. We treated our tenants as we would want to be treated. We really enjoyed working in the real estate industry during those years. Everything came to a screeching halt in 2008 when the market crashed because of a recession and we suffered a devastating loss…we lost over 90% of everything we had. Life was very, very hard but through it all, we found strength in God and started from the ground to build our lives and our financial status back up again. We didn’t give up on the real estate industry and step-by-step and little-by-little we acquired one property at a time and did what we do best — worked hard and continued to bless others and today we've surpassed our pre-recession portfolio and we are much wiser and more prosperous than before!
