About Me
Ronnie Eric is a New Jersey–based hip-hop artist whose sound is shaped by his upbringing in church, the influence of Lauryn Hill, and the music his parents raised him on. A true triple threat—Artist, Songwriter, and Engineer—Ronnie began his journey in the music industry during his sophomore year at Florida A&M University.
After immersing himself in the Atlanta music scene, Ronnie quickly secured major placements as both an artist and songwriter. His work includes the song “100 Grand,” featured on NBA 2K21 (Next-Gen), and co-writing “Black and White” by Nasty C featuring Ari Lennox, which appeared on NBA 2K24 and the Coming 2 America: Rhythms of Zamunda soundtrack. He also earned a placement for “Money Everywhere” by R&B supergroup RSVP (Ray J, Sammie, Bobby V, Pleasure P), featured on BET’s All The Queen’s Men, and has written for German artist ZIYA.
Ronnie’s music has been featured across major sports and media platforms, including the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers preseason promo video For the Love of Diggs, the 2021 basketball documentary of the same name, and in arenas for the Overtime Elite Professional Basketball League, as well as NBA programming such as NBA Top Dunk Weeks.
His most recent placements include a cover of “The Distance” for the NHL Stanley Cup, an original song “Climb to the Top” featured on Dana White’s UFC Contender Series (ESPN), and a Target commercial spotlighting HBCU entrepreneurs.
