Charcoal-Filtered Reverse Osmosis Water (RO Water)

What is Charcoal-Filtered Reverse Osmosis Water?

Charcoal-filtered reverse osmosis (RO) water is water that has been purified through a multi-step filtration process designed to remove impurities, odors, and unwanted minerals.

This helps create a cleaner, more consistent base for products like room and linen sprays.

Why We Use It

We use charcoal-filtered RO water because it supports a more refined, high-quality finished product.

Benefits include:

  • Helps reduce unwanted odors or “tap water” smell
  • Creates a cleaner base so fragrance smells truer
  • Helps minimize mineral content that can affect clarity
  • Supports a smoother, more consistent spray experience

How It’s Filtered

Our water goes through two main purification steps:

1) Reverse Osmosis (RO)

Reverse osmosis is a filtration method that removes many dissolved solids and impurities by pushing water through a specialized membrane.

2) Charcoal Filtration

Charcoal filtration helps remove chlorine-like odors and improves overall water freshness and purity.

Why It Matters in Room & Linen Sprays

Water quality makes a difference. When water contains minerals or unwanted residues, it can sometimes affect:

  • how a spray looks (cloudiness)
  • how it smells (off-notes)
  • how it performs over time

Using purified water helps us keep our sprays clean, clear, and consistent.

Our Promise

We choose purified water intentionally as part of our commitment to creating products that feel elevated, thoughtful, and safe for everyday use.

Quick FAQ

Does this mean the product is “chemical-free”?

All matter is made of chemicals, but we do focus on avoiding harsh or unnecessary ingredients. This water choice is part of keeping things simple and clean.

Is this the same as distilled water?

Not exactly. Distilled water is purified through boiling/condensing. RO water is purified through filtration membranes. Both are very clean options.

Why not just use tap water?

Tap water quality varies widely by location. We prefer consistency, and purified water helps us deliver that.
