About Rosie
Rosie Hendry lived and worked in the USA before settling back in her home county of Norfolk, England, where she lives in a village by the sea with her family. She likes walking in nature, reading and growing all sorts of produce and flowers in her garden — especially roses.
She writes stories from the heart that are inspired by historical records, where gems of social history are often to be found. Her interest in the WWII era was sparked by her father’s many tales of growing up at that time.
Rosie is the winner of the 2022 Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) award for historical romantic sagas, with The Mother’s Day Club, the first of her series set during wartime at Rookery House. Her novels set in the London Blitz, the East End Angels series, have been described as ‘Historical fiction at its very best!’.
