I am an avid kayaking and hiking enthusiast myself — so, after I discovered book written about a 1920 kayak expedition around Estonia, I was rather exited.

At that time it was one of a kind voyage and was considered world distance record in kayaking.

It was available in Estonian only; but I wanted this first-hand experience from more than 100 years ago to be available to wider public. So after long considerations I translated it into English, so that more readers could enjoy this remarkable early kayaking account.
