WHICH CABIN SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

PUBLISHED TOKYO-SHIN-OSAKA PRICES
For a regular-season Nozomi journey, JR Central currently publishes a Smart EX price of JPY 42,390 for the one-person Car 10 cabin and JPY 60,790 for the Car 7 cabin. Both figures include the basic fare and limited-express fare. Seasonal adjustments apply, so use the current booking result rather than treating one example as a permanent universal price.
Choose Car 10 when private solo travel is the point. Choose Car 7 when two people value the larger shared cabin enough to justify the cabin price plus the companion's separate valid ticket. Lighting, climate, seating and sound can be adjusted inside the cabin, and the service includes a welcome beverage and confection.
HOW TO RESERVE
Reservations are handled through Smart EX, and membership is required. From launch day, check JR Central's daily operating-train information before building the trip around Supreme Class.
Before booking, decide whether you need a solo cabin or space for two, then check the complete cost for both travellers. Check the actual departure and cabin availability before arranging hotels around it. Cabin seats cannot be rotated. The seat-side luggage space accepts a suitcase within 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm; if your luggage is larger, consult the official luggage rules before booking.
