Editorial, fact-checking and update policy
How we verify our Japan travel guides
1. Official sources first. Transport rules, airport access, tax-free procedures, opening hours and other time-sensitive facts are checked against the relevant operator, airport, government or venue source. Google Maps is used for navigation links, not as the sole authority for rules or prices.
2. Practical detail, not vague advice. Each guide aims to state the station, exit, transfer, walking time, luggage constraint, price or decision point a traveler actually needs. If a value changes by date, route, store or season, we explain the range and the condition instead of presenting false precision.
3. Translation and language review. Localized editions are checked for natural wording, missing text, broken characters, untranslated fragments and misleading literal translations. Key place names remain searchable in Japanese or Roman letters where useful.
4. Dated verification. Time-sensitive editions show a verification or update date. A date means the cited information was reviewed then; it is not a guarantee that an operator cannot change a rule later. Major confirmed changes are corrected in the source file and replacement edition.
5. Corrections. If you find a broken link or factual error, use the Contact page and include the guide title, page number and source. We review actionable reports and correct verified errors.
Super Deep Japan Guides is independent and unofficial. We do not claim endorsement by transport operators, airports, retailers, studios, authors or tourism authorities.
WHAT TO RECHECK BEFORE YOUR TRIP
Use the official operator or facility page for your travel date: opening hours, closures, ticket availability, last departures, fares, baggage restrictions and photography rules can change. The publication date of a blog article is not the verification date of every linked product. Check the date stated in the specific guide or product description.
MAPS AND SCREEN LOCATIONS
Map links help you navigate; they do not prove that a place is accessible, safe to enter or officially connected with a film or anime. A filming location, a place depicted on screen and an inspiration are different. Follow on-site signs, staff instructions and private-property boundaries.
HOW TO REPORT A PROBLEM
Use the Contact link below. Include the product title or article URL, PDF edition or date if shown, page number, the statement or broken link, and an official source supporting the correction. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or passport information. This page does not promise a response deadline, continuous live monitoring or automatic updates to a previously downloaded file.
