Navigating school stress can be tricky and frustrating- and can lead to unnecessary levels of stress, so, I'm going to cut this down as short n' simple as possible.

To navigate stress from school you need to...


-Understand

"Understand what?" you may say...

Understand what stress you are experiencing,

Understand the material,

Understand your plan, etc.

Understanding is ALWAYS the first step.


There are 2 general types of stress:

Acute Stress: Short-term; passes quickly

Chronic Stress: Last over weeks or months



-Pace yourself

Learning is adaptable; so, adapt to it!! There are so many ways we can learn- literally at the comfort of our own homes.



-Plan accordingly

Stay strategic, organized, and planned; those 3 generate success.



According to Harvard Health's blog post, 14 Tips for Test Taking Success,


"Before going to bed (early, so you get a good night’s sleep), gather everything you need for the test and have it ready to go. 


Having everything ready the night before will help you feel more confident and will minimize stress on the morning of the test. And it will give you a few extra minutes to sleep and eat a healthy breakfast."
