Why STÜFF??

The Producers is a favorite musical of me and my husband. We often found ourselves saying "Tidy Üp!" and " Strüt your stüff" like Ülla whenever we cleaned the house. And began adding umlauts everywhere in our daily conversation.

Then, in 2022, I was laid-off from my job after 20 years. So I made two decisions; I decided I no longer wanted to be expendable, and I decided to turn my hobby into my career.

When brainstorming ideas for a name I kept thinking " I just want to make things to make you smile." On the list of potential names was STUFF, over which I doodled two dots, making the U smile.

STÜFF may not immediately tell you what I make. But it does gather attention! And I don't just make one thing. I mostly make crochet amigurumi, but I also design crochet patterns, make art for stickers, and I hope to branch out and make more types of cute and nerdy art.
