Hi, I’m April McBride, the heart behind Bloom & Bear. 💙

Children hold a special place in my heart. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and welcome—to know their feelings matter and that even the smallest person can do something brave.

That passion inspires my children’s books. With help from Bear, my real-life little Pomeranian, I create adventures that bring giggles and wonder while gently exploring kindness, courage, and friendship. My hope is that these stories become moments families share, with messages children carry long after the last page.

Bloom & Bear also makes room for women finding their confidence and beginning a new chapter. Through my books and digital creations, I hope to offer a little encouragement at every age.
