About Me

Sam Brindle MSc is a Human Performance practitioner with a background spanning strength and conditioning, applied performance and multidisciplinary Human Performance environments.

His work is increasingly focused on what sits beyond the programme - how we understand the human, how practitioners make decisions, how information moves through performance systems and whether the systems we build are actually producing meaningful outcomes.

Rather than viewing Human Performance as a collection of services, Sam approaches it as an interconnected system built around the individual. His work explores the relationship between data, practitioner judgement, trust, lived experience and decision-making in complex performance environments.

He is the author of Understand the Human. Improve the System. - A Practical Philosophy for Human Performance, which introduces ideas including The Measurement Boundary, The Available Version, Investigate the Gap and Compounding Trust.

This store is home to his writing, frameworks and practical resources exploring Human Performance, systems thinking and better decision-making.

UNDERSTAND THE HUMAN. IMPROVE THE SYSTEM.

“You cannot make a good decision from information you were never trusted enough to receive. ”
