About Scott

Scott Gaddis is the Vice President and Global Practice Leader for Safety and Health at Intelex Technologies, where he serves as the senior leader for the EHS Center of Excellence supporting customers across the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, energy, and industrial sectors. He has spent nearly four decades in global EHS leadership, including roles as Global Director of Occupational Safety and Health at Kimberly-Clark, Executive Director of Global EHS at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Vice President of Global EHS and Sustainability at Coveris.


A frequent voice in the profession, Scott has been published in numerous EHS trade journals and has spoken at national and international conferences, including ASSP, VPPPA, NSC, corporate events, and regional safety associations. He hosts and contributes to industry podcasts on all matters related to EHS with a specialty in leadership, management systems, and organizational behavior.


Scott is the author of From Participation to Partnership: A Journey to Safety at the Frontline. This guide supports his second book, From Partnership to Practice, which carries that work forward by turning partnership principles into everyday habits that bring safety to life on the front line. A third book, From Practice to Presence, is forthcoming, challenging senior leaders to embrace safety as business infrastructure within their organizations.


A Special Government Employee supporting the U.S. Department of Labor, Scott has earned numerous honors for his leadership in EHS, including VPPPA Mentor of the Year. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, and lives in Owensboro, Kentucky.
