Soul Living Series – Entry 1
✨ This is the beginning of my Soul Living Series—a journey of honoring life’s seasons, even the hard ones, and finding flow within them. To live soulfully means to honor the season you are in….not rushing the bloom, not cursing the dark, but trusting the rhythm of becoming.
Preface – Dark Night of the Soul 🌑
The darkness is not punishment—it’s the place where life had forced me to slow down, break open, and start again. It’s heavy, it’s humbling, and it doesn’t always feel sacred in the moment. But this space was shaping me in ways I couldn’t see while I was rushing, reaching, or trying to hold it all together.
Although most would like to skip this part altogether 🙄—we can’t. It’s a necessary part of the journey we call life.
Then We Move Through… Cycles, the Wheel of Life
- Foundation (Darkness) – The grounding space, where roots take hold in silence.
- Planted – The seed of possibility, buried but alive.
- Budding (Shaded) – Growth stirring quietly, unseen but certain.
- Blooming (Emergence) – The hidden breaking into light.
- Blossoming (Expression) – The fullness of soul radiating outward.
- Harvest (Integration) – Gathering wisdom and embodying growth.
- Rest (Return to Stillness) – Completing the cycle, preparing the soil again.
Honestly, this has been super hard for me. Almost 40 and not yet where I thought I would be. Patience is truly a virtue, and I’m learning to honor the I AM—that every step, even the ones I’ve judged as missteps, are part of the cycle. Nothing has been wasted.
