Soul Living Series – Entry 4
Some lessons don’t just show up once—they circle back, again and again. At first, it feels like punishment. “Why am I still here? Didn’t I already learn this?” But the truth is, repetition isn’t failure. It’s an invitation to mastery.
Life repeats what we ignore, resists, or half-learn. It brings the same themes, the same feelings, sometimes even the same people back around— to show us where we’re still tender, where we’re still growing, where wisdom is still waiting to bloom.
Why Lessons Repeat
- Patterns are teachers in disguise. They point to the wounds and wisdom we can’t yet see clearly.
- Repetition deepens learning. Each time, we gain a little more awareness.
- Cycles shape us. What once broke us begins to strengthen us when we meet it differently.
- Growth is spiral, not linear. We may circle back, but each time, we rise a little higher.
I’ve had moments where I felt like I was running in circles—stuck in the same tests, the same relationships, the same mistakes. But looking closer, I realize: I haven’t been standing still. I’ve been moving upward, even when it felt like I was looping back. Each “repeat” carried more wisdom than the last.
